Championing Inclusivity on the Court: Price of Bath Partners with Pride Padel

Sport possesses a unique ability to unite communities. Recently, Price of Bath had the distinct privilege of partnering with Pride Padel—co-founded by Laura and Seun Crowe in Bristol with a mission to make padel more inclusive and welcoming, especially for LGBTQ+ players and women. When they reached out looking for colourful items to match the vibrant energy of their community, we were absolutely delighted to support their outstanding events and bring our premium, British-made sporting equipment to their courts.

On March 21st, the courts at Rocket Padel Bristol hosted a truly vibrant event. Throughout the day, 60 enthusiastic individuals stepped onto the court to learn, play, and compete in the first Women's Tournament & Coaching Clinic.

The morning commenced with 12 new players embarking on their padel journey, expertly guided by coaches Will and Izzy. The momentum continued to build as 48 women participated in a comprehensive coaching clinic and tournament. The event was supported by eight exceptional coaches and drill leaders, including LTA Level 2 women's coaches Gabriela and Connie.

We were thrilled to be present on the day, not just to witness this thriving community in action, but to bring something entirely new to the event. For the very first time, Price of Bath hosted a live pop-up stall right at the venue! We spent the day custom-printing padel balls directly for the attendees, creating unique, personalised keepsakes for players to take home and use on the court.

Vibrant Prizes and Sustainable Practice

We were proud to supply our championship-ready Phoenix Recycled padel balls to fuel the energetic practice sessions and coaching clinics throughout the day.

Our main contribution to the competitive side of the day, however, was providing the ultimate prizes for the event's winners. To celebrate the champions and add a splash of colour to the proceedings, we supplied special custom logo-printed padel balls alongside our vibrant multicoloured balls. As put by event organiser Seun, "they were such a perfect fit for the day and went down incredibly well with our players".
