Where Are Your Products Made?

We manufacture everything at our factory just outside Bath. We have been buying our woven tennis cloth from the same factory in Stroud for donkey’s years. We are very proud to be a member of Made in Britain and are passionate about being the last remaining tennis ball maker in the Western world. Shop now

Are Your Tennis Balls Really Recycled?

We recycle 100% of the Phoenix tennis ball to make a brand-new tournament tennis ball. These tennis balls can be collected and recycled into new tennis balls again and again. We’re proud to be pioneering new ideas and pointing tennis ball manufacture in a new ethical direction. Shop now

How Do Your Phoenix Tennis Balls Compare with Other brands?

We tested our tennis balls against the leading brands – happily ours lasted longer than many. We hope to have ITF approval soon. Shop now

Phoenix may cost a little more than your usual brand, but you will get the same quality for a 100% sustainable and ethical product. Do You Recycle Other Tennis Balls or Just Your Own Phoenix Brand?

At present, we only recycle our own Phoenix recycled tennis balls. On the journey towards circularity, material choice is key, hence why we only use our own Price of Bath Phoenix tennis balls to ensure we don’t compromise on quality and sustainability. Our goal in the future is to recycle all our own brand tennis balls so we are creating as sustainable a future as we can for our company. Read more on Our Sustainable Solution.

Can Your Tennis Ball Tube Be Recycled?

Yes, our tennis ball tube is recyclable. Plastic is the only option for now, but we are working on it. For now, we use the cleanest plastic recyclable packaging, clear Polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Clear PET is widely recycled throughout the UK and in household kerbside collections meaning that it does get recycled. Part of our mission is to educate players to show them how to recycle their tubes. We are working on making changes to use rPET – recycled Polyethylene terephthalate or other recycled materials. Are Tennis Balls Biodegradable?

Tennis balls are made from vulcanised rubber. Vulcanised rubber was designed to be resilient. That makes it hard to decompose. So this will mean vulcanised rubber will sit in landfills for years after it is thrown away. Its impact on the environment is hard to overlook. Our solution at Price of Bath is to use the rubber again into new tennis balls creating no waste and ensuring our Phoenix tennis balls have a sustainable circular life. Shop now

Can I Try your Tennis Balls Before I Sign Up to the Subscription Service?

Yes, you can. You can buy our tennis balls as a one-off purchase. If you like them – you can then register your interest for our soon to be launched subscription service.Shop now

How Will Your Subscription Service Work?

It will mean you are never out of tennis balls whilst helping tennis be sustainable. Play with them, return them in the packaging provided with an easy to print pre-paid postage label and we will send you your new set of balls. It really couldn’t be simpler. Own the game – not the ball. It will be a subscription service tailored to you. Shop now

Can I Track My Package?

We’ve made it easy just sign into your account on our website and click on the track my package link. We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 service so you should be able to follow your package’s progress both on its way to you and on its way back.

Can I Change my Delivery Address?

Yes, of course, either contact us in the office on 01225742141 or if you have created an account and your order hasn’t already left us just sign into your account on our website and amend your delivery address.

How Do I Print My Postage Label?

We’ve made it easy – follow the link on our website which allows you to print your returns label.

Do you Offer Bulk Discounts?

Yes, we do. We are currently setting up our online wholesale account service. In the meantime, though please contact phoenix@priceofbath.com for more information – we have been providing tennis balls for clubs for over eighty years so do get in touch and we will try and give you the best deal we can.

Even our cloth is made in the UK, woven at a factory down the road in Stroud.
